A few minutes ago I received an email alert from Firewallguide.com and thought I would share the information in the alert. Every article pertained to the Conficker worm which is a worm that has already infected millions of Windows PCs previously. Supposedly, on April 1, 2009 (tomorrow—April Fool's Day) a component of this worm will be automatically downloaded to these already infected computers with instructions to be more aggressive in carrying out their assigned tasks. The media is making this a big issue as always, creating hysteria among computer users. I am not sure this will happen, but am informing you of the threat and providing two links that were included in the email from Firewallguide.com to provide more information on the Conficker worm.

I've heard from multiple sources that the Conficker worm won't be a threat to Mac users, thank goodness
